About Trucker's Guide
Built by people who've actually worked freight.
Trucker's Guide started as a small dispatch desk for a handful of owner-operators who were tired of forced loads and vague fees. It's grown into a flat-fee dispatch service built the same way — one dedicated dispatcher per carrier, real broker relationships, and no fine print.
Our Story
Why we started dispatching this way.
Most of the frustration owner-operators run into with dispatch services traces back to the same handful of things: getting talked into loads that don't fit, unclear fees showing up on a settlement, and never talking to the same person twice.
Trucker's Guide was built around fixing those three problems specifically — a flat, disclosed fee; a dedicated dispatcher for every carrier; and a strict rule that the driver always has final say on every load.
We work with owner-operators running box trucks, flatbeds, reefers, dry van, hotshot rigs, and power only — and we treat new authority the same as an established fleet: you get a real dispatcher and a real shot at good freight from day one.
How We Work
The rules we don't break.
No forced dispatch, ever
Every load is offered, never assigned. If it doesn't fit your route or rate floor, you say no — no penalty, no pressure.
One dispatcher, start to finish
You're matched with a dedicated dispatcher who learns your equipment and lanes, not a rotating call center.
Fees disclosed up front
One flat percentage, quoted before you sign up, applied the same way on every load. No hidden line items later.
The Team
Dispatchers, not a call queue.
Every dispatcher specializes in specific equipment types and lanes, so you're matched with someone who already understands your freight.
M. Ortega
Works long-haul and cold-chain lanes across the Southwest and Midwest.
J. Kessler
Specializes in steel, machinery, and oilfield freight in Texas and the Gulf.
A. Reyes
Focuses on fast-turn regional and last-mile freight nationwide.
P. Lindqvist
Onboards new MC holders and builds the broker relationships that get first loads booked fast.

Standards & Partnerships
How we vet freight and who we work with.
Broker vetting
We work with established brokers and shippers, checking payment history and credit standing before booking a carrier on a new lane.
Load board access
Dispatchers work major load boards daily alongside direct broker relationships, so you're not limited to what's publicly posted.
Carrier onboarding standards
Every carrier we dispatch confirms active MC/DOT authority and current insurance before their first load, keeping brokers confident booking through us.
